I know I can stop guests accessing forums etc, but I want to allow bots to spider my whole forum. However 1 member has asked if they can hide posts from guests due to people she doesn't want reading her posts, reading them. If this isn't possible, please could you move this into mod requests? Replies: Posted By: Matt Date Posted: 01 Sep 2007 at 5:26am it would be rather hard to make posts hidden to humans but visible to robots due to the fact that the humans can pretend to be robots. also if a robot index's the post a guest could simply view the cached page to read the post.
